I have suppliers for most things - kitchens and joinery, bathrooms, soft furnishing, carpeting and flooring, lighting, upholstery and so much more. I choose the relevant trades for each project and can help where you need it.
Renovating and decorating is a process. It can be stressful and I bring perspective, experience and good humour so that you can respond calmly to what you find along the way in order to achieve the best outcome.
Consulting
Generally, the collaborative process starts with a cup of tea and a walk around the house so that you can show me what you like and dislike and want to change. Then we consider the options, the flow of the spaces, the light, the feel and character.
Once you have decided what kind of input you need we can get to work and plan the timing of the rest.
The style of the room emerges after looking at colours, samples, fabrics and finishes. For some, a mood board can help to decide between a few options and to see how the items in a room interact with the scheme.
Fees
Design work is billed hourly and invoiced monthly, all other work is from an approved fixed quote.
